It's the LAW to BREAK a rental lease for a
victim of Domestic Violence when their is
a Restraining Order in place.
YES! You can Re-New a restraining order
if you are fear of further acts of physical
body harm or threats to you from the
abuser. You DO NOT need to show proof.
Thats why you obtained a restraining
order in the 1st place. In hopes the
abuser will NOT cause fear. Women have
admitted they dropped a restraining
order when it was time to re-new.
Because they had an divorce attorney
tell them it won't go threw, the abuser
has left you alone, or you don't need it
anymore. Its also has happen to me. I've
had been abused again when restraining
order has been dropped. And so has
many other victims. I'm 10yrs now on the
same renewal of the restraining order.
There has been several red flags for
myself to keep order in tact. More than
50% of the time the abuser is on their
best behavior. Because they want you to
feel it's safe to drop the order. It's part of
the cycle. They paint a perfect picture.
Than once you fall into it. They abuse you
again. But this time worst than before.
DO NOT drop a restraining order, unless
you are 110% sure you feel safe again!
