(DID YOU KNOW) You can "BREAK A LEASE" if you are a victim of Domestic Violence with a Restraining Order. Also the landlord has to
change the locks for you as well. Also you can have  your children name change or your partner or spouse adopt your kids you share with the
abuser, with out the abuser's consent if they been incarcerated for at least 3 years. You can obtain a Restraining Order even if you are not in
a relationship, if it was a one night stand, sexual assault or any where in that nature. Where you use to have to be in a relationship or have
ongoing sexual relationship with someone to obtain a restraining order. Not any more now. Did you also know you can obtain a legal PO BOX
to show proof of as a physical address. To protect your physical address from the abuser on like school registry, voters registration, court
documents or filing, DMV and more! By joining the Address Confidential Program for free! You can also obtain a Domestic Violence Grant up
